Hipstamatic - Indignado

HIPSTAMATIC - Indignado (outraged)

I am one of those “indignados”. This is nothing more than a courteous way of exclaiming and exclaiming that I am fucked off. I guess like many of those who read these four hundred words today, after feeling their souls crushed by some piece of news that they have been faced with. I am tired of an economic and political system which bewilders us with the natural appearance of a wheat field or a praying mantis, in a shameless and despicable manner. A voice-over seems to be humming to us that song that goes: I am truly sorry, that is the way life is and I did not make it up. That ditty penetrates your skin like a close shave against the grain. I am sick and tired of seeing how the weeping and blackmailing by bankers becomes more effective than the eviction of the unprotected. The bonuses, the salaries for life, first class journeys, the alms of the Pharisee, the lunch bill on the company expense account, please, the Blackberry flat rate and the advisors’ payroll is bringing me such hormonal disorder that I don’t even know how I am going to get away with this. I detest the fact that the government has not been brave enough to bell the cat, and consequently, the nonsense of opulence has had to be paid by those who have the least. I detest the fact that the opposition has been handling the crisis keeping their eye on the polls and not revealing their magic formula – though I get the idea-. And I of course detest that this electoral law refreshes the snout of major parties when the heat becomes unbearable. I am ashamed of most of the politicians. I cannot feel represented by candidates who had a foot in jail, or by those who have been accused and are cheered by their leaders; nor by those who strengthen their will to perpetuate themselves into their position; nor by those who have been rejected once and again in the polls and refuse to set aside in favour of new ideas and new names; nor by those who have betrayed their principles for an outrageous patrimony, of difficult ethical justification. If the system shows no objections to hosting them, the system is nothing but a botched job of painful consequences, and I want no other option but that of going against it. No more than a year and a half ago, people were speaking of refounding capitalism and, as it was expected, they have ended up founding our souls to the altruistic beat of the IMF, the ECB and the almighty economic elites that, eccentric as they are, feel blissful in their particular Bilderberg Club. I am one of those “indignados” and I just wanted you to know.
